CLUBHOUSE DEVELOPMENT
Works are progressing on the new Clubhouse Development at Corofin Pitch grounds. The blockwork has been completed with the roof and windows next on the list! This is an exciting development of facilities which will be of great benefit to not just the Club but to the broader community.

GAA CLUB NOTES
The excitement is building nicely ahead of the All-Ireland Final next Sunday with flags, bunting and posters adorning the parish at every turn. We wish Padraig Joyce and the Galway panel, particularly our Club players Dylan McHugh, Liam Silke, Kieran Molloy, Oran Burke, Patrick Egan, Jack McCabe and Ciaran Brady the very best of luck on Sunday. It is an honour for the Club to have such fine representation on a County panel that has produced some brilliant displays of football on route to the final. We have every bit of confidence in the lads and will be proud of them not matter the outcome in Croke Park.

Last Saturday evening the draw took place for the clubs All-Ireland Ticket allocation. 193 tickets were drawn and emails were issued to each winner with a link to the tickets and a passcode to unlock their ticket. These links and passcodes expire at 9am Wednesday morning. If you have not purchased your ticket by then, the ticket has will be returned to Croke Park and will no longer be available to the Club.

On Friday evening the Club are hosting a gathering in the Palm Tree from 8:00pm of the historic winning Minor teams from the 1990’s. All are welcome to reminisce on the great times and have a bit of craic.

Last Friday evening the Junior A team were away to Oranmore-Maree for Round 4 of the Junior ‘A’ Championship North. It was a tough fixture for the Club’s 4th adult team but they showed brilliant attacking intent, scoring 4 goals, unfortunately it was not enough to trouble a very strong Oranmore-Maree. Final score Corofin 4-09 Oranmore-Maree 5-20.

This Wednesday the U-19’s are away to Dunmore MacHales for Round 2 of the U-19 ‘A’ North Championship at 7:30pm. On Friday evening the U-17’s host Tuam Stars at Corofin Pitch at 7:30pm for Round 3 of the U-17 ‘A’ Championship.

LGFA CLUB NOTES
Congratulations to Galway Seniors and Club players Roisin Leonard and Leanne Coen as they defeated Cork on Saturday in the All-Ireland Semi-Final at Glenisk O’Connor Park. They will face Kerry in the All-Ireland Final on Sunday week in Croke Park and we wish all players involved in the County set-up Roisin Leonard, Leanne Coen and Karen Connolly the very best as they prepare for the game.

UNDERAGE
The Club was honoured to welcome the Galway U14 Girls and Club players Orla Newell and Ellie Harty-O’Brien as the first stop on their exhausting countywide All-Ireland Victory tour on Sunday. The wet conditions did little to dampen the spirits of the crowd who gathered outside Dr Duggan Hall to cheer the girls as they stepped off the bus. Massive thank you to the girls for giving their time to pose for photos and talk with friends and supports before heading off again to Tuam. Particular thanks to the organisers, namely Anne Jordan for co-ordinating. Hopefully we will get to do it all again next year!

The Nursery Group continues every Saturday from 10:30am until 11:15am. This is training for Boys and Girls born in 2018/2019.
